Established in 1976, Bahrain Markets represents agencies involved with infrastructural and industrial development in Bahrain.

Over the years Bahrain Markets has played a key role in various projects including power generation such as the 250 megawatt power station at Riffa built by giant engineering company Kraftwerk Union of Germany, which is now part of Siemens, AG.

The company is currently performing a rehabilitation work at Riffa Power Station due for completion in 2005.

In addition, there were the construction of the Regency Inter-Continental Hotel and the Faculty of Medicine at the Arabian Gulf University by a joint venture between Sianrapt et Brice and Grand Travaux de Marseilles of France and Bahrain Markets.
